What is CrossFit?
CrossFit is elite fitness for everyone. Originally developed by legendary coach Greg Glassman in Santa Cruz California, CrossFit is now a world-wide network of coaches and gyms dedicated to improving human fitness and performance.
CrossFit workouts consist of constantly varied functional movements (like push ups, squats, pull ups, running, rowing etc.) performed at a high intensity. At CrossFit Rebuild there are no machines, mirrors, or iPods. Instead, you will find medicine balls, barbells, kettlebells, and lots of open space to run, jump, and get fit.
Our fitness programming for group classes and individual training strive to improve your capacity in ten recognized fitness domains: cardio-respiratory endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, speed, coordination, agility, balance, and accuracy. This makes CrossFit perfect for anyone wanting to take fitness to the next level.

It’s safe. CrossFit Rebuild is owned and operated by Physiotherapist Eric Wood-Salomon Eric oversees all of the programming and training of coaching staff. Our goal is for our clients to feel better and perform better – injury free.
What Makes CrossFit Rebuild Different?
CrossFit Rebuild is owned and operated by Physiotherapist Eric Wood-Salomon. Eric incorporates his professional training as a Physiotherapist into all aspects of CrossFit and Personal Training. This means that the workouts you perform and the coaches you work with have all been created and trained by a registered Physiotherapist. Eric received his undergraduate degree in Honours Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo (2007) and his Master of Science Degree in Physiotherapy from Dalhousie University (2009). Eric began his CrossFit career during his studies at Dalhousie University – initially skeptical of the movements and training intensity – it wasn’t long before the link between quality human movement patterns, injury prevention and elimination began to clarify in his mind. The advanced training Eric received in human anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and Physiotherapy are all brought into CrossFit Rebuild. Whether receiving Physiotherapy treatment, participating in a CrossFit class or nutritional coaching, our clients can expect to get stronger, recover faster, and attain greater health than they previously thought possible.
